More to do with Baylor politicing into the conference despite being a weaker representative like they did with the Big XII. The PAC-10 would rather have the Denver Media market than a 4th Texas school.
I'd be ok with CU in the Mountain West if it isn't relegated to mid-major status, but given that this is even a bigger case of big conference greed I doubt it.
I think the federal government needs to get involved now.
