Raw talent is pretty nebulous, and I'm assuming this is primarily driven by age and where certain players were selected in the entry draft. And the Blue Jackets do have the edge there having picked in the top 8 in 9 of the last 10 drafts.
I would counter that and say that players like Steve Sullivan and Jason Arnott have more "raw talent" than anyone that plays for the Jackets outside of Nash.
I would also argue that the "raw talent" (employing the defintion above) the Preds possess on the blue line so far exceeds that of the Blue Jackets that any perceived "raw talent" advantage in net or in the attacking zone is completely mitigated.
