2011 trade dead line for Vokoun or Roloson

I do not mind if Flyers sign and re-sign everyone (Hamhuis, Coburn, Carcillo, Powe) with exception of Asham and get Biron for 1M a year. Promote (if ready) Nodl or Maroon or Legein or Kalinski to replace Asham. We have about 10M a year in cap for 2011 season. So, 3.5-4M for Hamhuis, 2-2.5M for Coburn, about 1M for Carcillo and Powe gets about 650K, Biron 1M. Comes down to about 9M give or take 1M.

Flyers basically going to have the same group of forwards and d-men. I do not think they will perform as bad as they did during regular season in 09-10.

Assuming Tomas Vokoun and Roloson are going to have a good seasons. Similar seasons as last year.

What would you trade for Vokoun? 34 year old UFA goalie who has 5-6 good years ahead of him. 5.7M cap hit solid #1.

If Vokoun is unaffordable, what would Roloson cost? 40 year old goalies in the end of his career. 2.5M cap hit solidm #1. If we had Rollie this year we would win SC. No question about it.

Flyers have a few prospects and 1st round pick to go all out and get a missing playoff link (goaltender).

Why trade someone like Carter, or Gagne or even Briere this year. Even tough if some team offers something nice and Briere waives his NTC I would buy him a one way ticket.

Is it a good idea to make a trade for a goalie at the dead line? Assuming, we are in a much better shape in terms of picks and cap space. Seems like we are compare to last year.
