Due to the fact he couldn't commit full time is why I was calling for his head. It was after Francois Allaire was let go by Anaheim and was available I said the Canucks had to make a play for him to get a full time goalie coach on board. A few people thought it was a very poor idea - I'm just curious if Luongo's decline over the last year and a half has changed people's minds. I'm just glad the Canucks decided to go in a different direction, even though they missed out on the guy that's thought to be at the top of the foodchain in terms of goaltending coaches. Better late than never.
