Allaire was a consultant with the Leafs this past year, not a goaltending coach. Corey Hirsch was their full time goalie coach last season.

He also wasn't let go by Anaheim, his contract expired and he turned down an offer from the Ducks to sign with the Leafs instead so he could be closer to home.
