There is no indication of a rebuild process there, along with a strong core with Sakic, Forsberg, Blake and Foote. The likes of Vaananen, Aebischer, Liles, Svatos, Tanguay, Hejduk, etc. are expected to be here when the big four of Blake, Foote, Forsberg and Sakic go.
They're all good packages, but I would think this is yet another case of PapaBear's proposals where I ask; _why_ from either team's perspective?
Why would they trade him now? Forsberg may be done, seems like a person they would build around, one of the besr scorers in the NHL. For arguments sake the Flyers have a lot of young talented prospects and players. Carter and what else would get it done? any thoughts?
