Anyone else have the feeling that once Marc puts in his 7 years here, he's off to sign with one of his brothers? Hence why he wants to go right to UFA.
I can't blame him, if I had brothers in the NHL I'd want to play with them too. Not to mention two of his brothers have rings now and I'm sure he gets some ribbing in the summer.
Just a feeling I get. And if it comes down to that, 7 years is a long stay with one team these days. But if we can keep him longer, let's get it done.
