I was definitely hoping and expecting Coburn to be signed for less. I don't see why he should've been able to command this much. That said, I absolutely expect Coburn to play up to this contract. I really wanted to keep him as I expect him to be very good for us. Problem though, is that it's only 2 years. On a 2 year deal, he should've come cheaper. I expect Coburn will play himself into a raise 2 years from now. I would've liked more length on this deal for sure. 4-6 years would've been nicer.

I wouldn't think we have any room left to sign a goalie with these Coburn and Mez deals now in place....and that sucks big time.
