Well Grachev is a more puck possession type, more in the mold of, yes Jaromir Jagr in his Ranger years than a Kovalchuk or Ovechkin.

I think he could play either wing with relative comfort once he figures out his game, and I think his playing style will complement with Anisimov beautifully.


On Kreider, if we really want to groom this kid into a offensive beast, he needs top 6 Hartford minutes this year. Not College, not forced into a NHL role, not bottom 6 Hartford. Play him with Stepan, let them learn to play together this year and we may have something.
