No disrespect here, but to be objective: What NHL players have the Islanders successfully developed over the past few years? Bailey, Okposo and Tavares are still emerging, and will certainly be successful, but aside from that? *crickets*

I think you guys are rebuilding the right away, and be a solid team in a few years ago, but in fairness to Tamby he's never played for an organization that has a good reputation for player development, nor one where he has played alongside real talent. In Vancouver he has both.
