First off, your numbers include Cote. Cote will be gone. No matter who you replace him with, the cap hit will increase. (I say him as a roster spot, not in terms of the enforcers role)

Second, we should NOT force ourselves to run with 21 due to day-to-day injuries. If Powe signed for 800k and Carcillo for 1mill, we have no way of fitting those deals in.
