hey,
i recently started getting lacebite on my 195's after having them for 6 weeks or so. What i did was take an old pair of sneakers & cut the tongue out*** (at the bottom). before i lace up i put the tongue in between my foot & the skate tongue. the "pad" spreads the pressure across the whole area rather than on my tendon (where it hurt). hope that helps, works for me

***make sure the sneaker has a padded tongue (not converse chuck taylors)
