If we put like
Tanguay-Gratton-Hejduk (Gratton is the defensive guy this line, tanguay playmaker, hejduk goalscorer)
Konowalchuk-Sakic-Kariya (sakic and kariya are pretty small guys so konowalchuk can get puck out of corner and pass kariya or sakic, Everyone of this line can score.)

So what you think? Gratton is great in faceoffs too.. But is he enough good to first line or second line, i watched his stats and he has done over 60 points two times in his career, that is pretty well.

Defense looks solid, and goaltending looks very good when Budaj coming to NHL!

If Gratton can't play there then keep Damphousse(don't give gratton away, avalanche needs big guys).
In my opinion, forget Paul Kariya.

I'd much rather bring back Peter Forsberg and get a year out of Vincent Damphousse.

Tanguay - Forsberg - Hejduk
Damphousse - Sakic - Svatos
Konowalchuk - Gratton - Laperriere
Laaksonen - Hahl - Hinote

Vaananen - Blake
Skrastins - Foote
Liles - Boughner
Sauer

Aebischer
Budaj
