Quincy signed a 2 year deal worth $6.25 million. Quincy is 3 years away from being a group III.

Girardi is 26 years old. Sign him to a 4 year deal worth between $3-$3.5 million. $3.25 million. The Rangers aren't going to find a cheaper D in free agency. It's not like the players signed last Thursday are worth 5-6 years at over $4-$5 million per.
4 years @ $3 to $3.25 million for Girardi would be a solid deal. I have a feeling Sather is trying to get him to sign for under $3 million, though.
