When I was a kid I went to hockey school at RPI, and the feature guy at that time was Adam Oates. Adam would come in during the second week and hang out, skate around and give us tips and stuff. ANyway, I was a pretty big kid at the time and he asks me my name, (it's Scott) and he says, you remind me of Probert. Scotty Probert. Made my day. Hell, my week and my life at that point, because I fancied myself a tough player and to have someone who was a teammate of THE toughest guy in hockey at that time to tell me I resembled him in any way, shape, or form was just the greatest thing that ever happened to me at that time. Probert was a legend. He is gone from this earth, far too soon. When they are handing out guardian angel assignments at the pearly gates, whoever gets Probert as theirs is going to be one safe soul. RIP Bob Probert.
