Does Sutter trade Iginla, arguably the #1 player in the NHL (or close to it), for a Russian kid with (IMO -- from the display he put on in the WJCs) severe attitude and maturity issues?

No way in hell.

AO's abilties are no doubt impressive. But I don't think they hold a hill of beans to a guy like Sutter in exchange for the marquee player in the NHL. AT BEST, Ovechkin will develop into a franchise player, which Iginla already is -- and lead the league with 40-50 goals, which Iginla already does. The payoff just isn't there, it would take a lot more than AO to get Sutter to pull the trigger on a deal like that -- even then, I don't know if he would move the guy who lead his team to within a game of a Stanley cup. Iginla is just entering his prime, he's just entering the age range of players that Sutter likes to worth with (26-27) and it just doesn't make any sense.

Oh, and since when is Jagr is the NHL's ambassador?
