I think Nashville is quite fine with forwards unless Poile makes a move to gain picks. Even then who are you moving? The forwards have a set-up for a 3 scoring line shift with an energy line. We got plenty of energy line players in Milwaukee with Smithson, Goc, and Andersson.

Top 9 is Ward, Legwand, Kostitsyn, Dumont, Wilson, Erat, Lombardi, Sully, Hornqvist.

Of that top 9 who are you losing? Dumont scores at a better clip than Sully. Lombardi, Wilson, Legwand are the centers and they fit well with their roles. Erat and hornqvist are not going anywhere. Ward is a natural 3rd liner. I could see a move for Sullivan only because he's an UFA next year and mostly is gone.

Also, the Preds won last year with even strength play. We all scream and yell about the special teams but the shear fact of the matter is that it's only 5-8 minutes of the game. That's it. With the talent on Nashville I'm more worried about the PK then the PP.

And we forget that Nashville was 8th in the league in wins last year, not a team that scraped by but a solid team. Nashville is a more solid team this year than last. The depth of talent in the forward ranks is scary and can push 3 scoring lines even with injuries.

My main worry is in order: Defenseman depth, backup goal, PK, then PP.
