Hmm, I see at least 3 outdoor boards on my route from Murfreesboro to Downtown and back everyday. Just this a.m. I heard a traffic sponsorship on a non-Sports station and have seen numerous tv spots (mainly for the Ice Packs).
I think there's more of a focus on the season rather than just opening night. They always have a packed house for those. They have kind of given up on weeknight games. No matter how much they pushed those games in the past, the arena's half full at best. Why waste the marketing money? Besides, if you watch weeknight games from around the league, it's not unique to us.
