In 2003 San Jose traded a 2nd and a 4th to Boston move up 5 spots from 21st to 16th. This was not considered an overpayment.

If Handzus = 2nd rounder (or close to it) then Handzus + 4th is not unreasonable from Philly to move up 10 spots to 15th.

No team (in recent memory) has jumped from 15th under 5th in the draft, so it's difficult to project what might be required, but IMO 1 blue-chipper or a couple of mids and a pick is reasonable.

I'm not saying either team would do this, but value wise I don't think it's far off.

I agree that this would be helping Edmonton out, but I also doubt that a work-in-progress expansion team like Columbus would be willing to drop to 25th in the draft without a blockbuster deal. 15th is much better.
