When I played youth hockey at the house league level, I got a seperated shoulder from being tripped into the boards, I broke my hand from taking a puck off of it, and I injured my knee along the boards from a guy falling on top of me awkwardly.
In the four seasons of contact hockey I was able to play, I didn't incur any injuries requiring time off... although I was sore and bruised from time to time.
