And that sure worked out great, eh? Latendresse got to play with Lapierre while he was here, didn't get a single chance on the top-6. He went to Minny and tore it up. Luckily, we got a decent player, or it could've been absolutely disastrous for us. Oh, and Sergei didn't get a chance on the top-6 neither. Not to mention Pacioretty stagnated in his development as well...

I'm not a fan of either player (Sergei/Guillaume), but they both are better players than Pacioretty at this point in time, and were just as much last season. Keeping Pacioretty in the NHL was, at that point, a terrible decision. Had he been playing a whole year in the AHL, odds are that he'd be in a better position to have an impact in the NHL next season. And he likely would have accepted it, instead of reportedly having a crappy attitude when he was sent back down. I mean, something's not right when Subban and Eller attend development camps, but when Pacioretty is not going...
