Zetterberg is a winger.

And it will be years until Hudler and the other prospects you mentioned can make an NHL impact. Besides, I am sure guys like Hudler are better suited for the wing.
Zetterberg just led the SEL in scoring, 50pts in 50 games at the center spot. He gave his all 6g 2a in a 7 game 1st round loss. He is a natural center and much better there. At the World Cup he was the center for Forsberg and Naslund. He'll be playing center at the World Championship. The only place he's played wing is for the Wings.

We still have Lang and Draper for 2-3 years for the prospects to get ready. We don't need 3 centers (Lang, Datsyuk, Zetterberg) capable of the top line if we don't have the proper wingers to go with them.
