Regardless, the league would be very, very foolish to take on the flyers at this stage. The flyers whether people want to admit it or not, are one of the most powerfull organisations in the leauge ( hence why it's always their merchandise posted all over the They also have an owner who is never going to walk away from the flyers, and will fight tooth and nail for them.

It would be foolish to think the NHL would want to take on a powerhouse like the flyers with absolutly no basis for doing so. The flyers generally take most things on the chin and are good about it(suspentions and reffing), but if the NHL wants to challenge them on something they believe in, they can expect a very long and pointless legal battle, in which the flyers will walk away the victors everytime
