He looked pretty impressive and stuck out more than Scott Gomez did....James' skating sort of reminds me of former King Jaroslav Bednar (long pivots and turns), but he appears to have more jump. He has some good offensive skill and was even used on the PK...

Overall, I was surprised at how well he played!
Thanks for the report. How has he looked overall this season? Any injury issues? What's been his biggest improvement?
