Vancouver fans would ever be so recalcitrant as to NOT trust Burke at his "word." And basically
what do we have against him as our former GM.

I know that opinions of Burke's performance here vary, but no rational observer could say that he did a really good job with the team. Most would say he was mediocre at best, and he got fired for sufficient cause.

That's all ancient history for us, and most of us have rightfully moved on. But Toronto fans who seriously want to know about Burke's track record need to learn what happened here. "Those who do not read history are doomed to repeat it." The Sweatt issue raises the ghost of the past in the present, and suggests that the Leafs will have a turbulent, wheel-spinning future while Burke is at the helm.
