Wouldn't be surprising.

At this point, you'd have to think he's a better option than Schroeder or Shirokov for that spot.

His shootout skills really give him an edge here - we've lost our two main shootout guys in Wellwood and Demitra (scored 6 of our 12 SO goals last year and 6 of 10 the year before) so there's a gaping void there, and Tambellini is the best guy in the organization now at that role by a country mile. We don't need to be pissing away points because we can't sneak away with shootout victories.
