My question is....if we can't tell if the puck is over the line already, how are we going to tell when it "touches" the yellow line any differently? On top of that, yellow has less contrast to the white ice surface than red does, making it harder to distinguish, thus harder to tell where the puck is relative to the line. And even on top of that, your best view of the yellow line will be a bird's eye view seen through the mesh in the top of the net, making it harder still to distinguish.
Not sure if I explained that clearly, but hopefully you get what I mean.
its still an immediate and simple solution that will make the current situation better until something else comes along.
