I think it's more of Torts' familiarity w/ Fedotenko's game and how Fedotenko succeeded under Torts' system in Tampa. That's why he's going to be given a good look IMO.
When has Tortorella ever indicated that he feels that way? He refused to allow Dubinsky to participate, but that was simply because he was in the middle of a contract dispute and it would be a distraction. Fedotenko hardly fits that bill.
