As for affording it under cap we could if we go thru another wave of inexperienced young talent

Resign Seabrook at 4.9 cap hit
Resign Stalberg/Skille (Whoever is more successful at 1.8 cap hit)
Resign Skille/Stalberg/Kopecky or UFA vet at 1.5 cap hit
Sign a starting goalie for 1.6 cap hit
Sign a backup goalie for 700k cap hit

Dont retain Troy Brouwer , Jordan Hendry , Jake Dowell , Nick Boynton , Igor Vishnevskiy , Fernando Pisani , Marty Turco , Corey Crawford

If salary cap remains same and inflator is used again

Victor Stalberg ($1.800m) / Jonathan Toews ($6.300m) / Patrick Kane ($6.300m)
Patrick Sharp ($3.900m) / Stephen Weiss ($3.100m) / Marian Hossa ($5.275m)
Bryan Bickell ($0.541m) / Dave Bolland ($3.375m) / Jack Skille ($1.500m)
Igor Makarov ($0.552m) / Brandon Bollig ($0.545m) / Ben Smith ($0.812m)
John Scott ($0.512m) or a cheap player from Rockford

Brian Campbell ($7.142m) / Duncan Keith ($5.538m)
Brent Seabrook ($4.900m) / Niklas Hjalmarsson ($3.500m)
Simon Danis-Pepin ($0.850m) / Shawn Lalonde ($0.773m)
Ryan Stanton ($0.897m)

Start Goal ($1.600m) /Backup Goalie ($0.700m)

CAP SPACE (22-man roster): 3k in cap space
You can't really make a roster like this for the 2011-2012 Blackhawks on Cap Geek right now. The salary cap is going up, but we don't know how much. Plus, we have the bonuses of Kane and Toews most likely not happening again, so there's even more cap space. My guess is that Hendry would be out, and we keep Vishnevskiy over Boynton, too because I think he'll outplay them. We could also have acquired another cheap defensemen at the deadline, so he could be in this roster. That could be likely. There's a chance Vishnevskiy + Boynton/Hendry on the last defensemen pairing may not be pulling it's own weight for us. Then, maybe a guy like Lalonde or Connelly is the #7 defensemen. We could retain Brouwer and just one more question: You have "Igor Vishnevskiy" in your list of guys to not retain. Did you mean Ivan Vishnvskiy should go or did you mean Makarov and Vishnevskiy should go or just Makarov? Plus, I wouldn't expect Seabrook to get $4.9 million per year. I think he'll get about $4.3-4.5. That's only $400K from a Norris Trophy winner from last year, right? He's making $3.5 million per year right now. He deserves a raise for sure, but how much? That's the question. He may just take a hometown discount. I really wouldn't want to go through this just to get Weiss, really. I really like Dave Bolland. His offensive game will pick up and he is awesome on defense. We need him against the likes of the Sedins, Thorton, Marleau and Heatley, etc. It showed in the playoffs how important he was to our team and how much underrated he is in the NHL. Weiss would be nice, but now when I think about it, it'd be a luxury and probably would throw off even more chemistry than we lost from last year going into this year.
