Trust your head, I think he'll be fine.
IP is high, but as far as number of pitches, he's where he usually is. In 08 he threw 3,418 pitches in 33 starts. In 09 he threw 3,386 pitches in 32 starts. Through 30 starts he's thrown 3,021 so far in 2010. At this pace, he'll go just over 3,400 if he starts 34.
