Zuccarello-Aasen will probably make it. If he shows the skills, playmaking, and smarts he is known for, he's going to make it.
And they're definitely going to want to carry a 7th defenseman this year.
So at least one of Semenov, Eminger, Exelby should make it.
And I wouldn't count White and Fedotenko out. If they carry a 7th defenseman they can still carry at least two extra forwards. I doubt they'll carry Kennedy to sit in the press box, they'll want him to play somewhere.
And they expect McDonagh to possibly make the roster, and not in Gilroy's place, either. Regardless of what some fans say or think of him, the Rangers still think highly of Gilroy. I think Gilroy and Redden will at least get the chance to start the season in New York.
