I want both Stepan and Grachev to make the team as much as the next guy, but let's be realistic here, I doubt either one makes the team let alone both. Also, Gilroy substituted for both rookies? Not even a 13th forward/7th D spot? I don't think that's likely either.

Sometimes people just want change for change. Is Valent/McD really going to better than Gilroy was? Probably not, considering the praise for Gilroy and his frame thus far, and that he has a season under his belt. Gilroy will more than likely play.

Again though, I'd love to see both Stepan and Grachev make the team. But the chances of both of them making the team, bumping Drury AND Avery to the fourth line is 99% not going to happen.
