Osgood won a Cup at the height of his career, he was never as good as when he won the Cup, he was one of the NHL's top goalies at the time, whether or not he was good because of how good Detroit was is debatable...i'll give you that one...

Aren't Vernon and Barrasso near Hall of Fame goalies, who won Cups again at the pinnacle of their careers...

Look at the last Stanley Cup winners goalies...

Khabibulin (top 5 IMO)
Brodeur(#1 in the world)
Roy...enough said
Belfour (hall of famer)
Hasek (hall of famer) the time he won, was one of the NHL's top 5 goalies

All i'm saying is that teams like Philly and St-Louis have always addressed their goalie situation with quick fixes, those can get you into the playoffs because you have good teams, but it's only a matter of time before you crash and burn
