I don't think it was goaltending that kept us from winning the Cup last year. In fact, Esche's fantastic play in net (along with Keith Primeau's superhuman effort, and terrible performances by Toronto's defensemen) is what got us into the ECF. He was robbing Leafs left and right. Usually, the Flyers just stop scoring in the playoffs for whatever reason. The Lindros teams of the mid- to late-90s are the ones for which the goaltending really stunk during the playoffs. The last few years, it's been injuries and going cold offensively.
