My scariest moment came in my second game ever. I lost the puck off my blade and I had my head down looking to regain the puck. Right as my head is coming up I can see one of the bigger guys from the other team just blitzing towards me. Since it's a beginner roller league and he didn't know how to stop, he crashes right into me. His shoulder hits me straight in the face, twisting my helmet and full shield sideways and I fly back and hit the back of my head on the concrete.

I wasn't out cold, but man I was out of it. It's true what they say, you don't feel the pain at first, but rather some form of embarrassment and you just wanna get up but I couldn't and my team mates and the referee had to force me to just lay down.

There's still a nice big scuff mark on my helmet that reminds me of that hit every time I put it on.
