This is it. Parent started out very promising, but back and shoulder injuries/surgeries have really hurt his development.

If you are a shut down guy whose game is premised on speed, then playing with a bad back and being unable to take a hit means you turn the puck over a lot.

I have always liked Parent, he just hasn't been healthy enough to play to his potential.
