That was sort of my point: he has to prove he can stay healthy for the Kings to maintain interest in their investment. I haven't heard anything derogatory regarding him this season. Heck, he hasn't been on the ice enough to generate much gossip other than interest in when he's going to come back. He had some sterling moments this season. Especially memorable was his pounding on the Baby B's Thompson after Gleason tooled him up first. The linesman was escorting Thompson to his bench and he charged the Monarchs bench right towards Flinn. Flinn just finished the job Gleason started, right over the dasher. Thompson was down on the ice in no time. Flinn later acknowledged that he probably shouldn't have pounded Thompson from the bench. However, what was he to do?
Anyway, here's hoping he gets his body healthy and makes a strong come back next season.
