2011 University Cup

There will be 2 CanadaWest teams in this years University Cup, as the rotating wild card berth has been changed from a third OUA team and given to the west for the second straight year. This from the CIS championship website.
Two teams from each conference, will be more appealing to the fans in Fredericton and they will get the chance to see another team other than Alberta. This should also make for a very competitive tournament with 2 teams also from the AUS.
So very important to get out of the gate fast, home ice advantage will be so crucial as the home team gets all the games in a best of 3 series in CanadaWest .
Dave Adolph got his home advantage last year and the favoured Saskatchewan Huskies blew it against the Bisons.
My prediction is that we will see Eric Thurston's Bears in Freddy, but who will be the second team from the Wild West?
