Our NHL roster is full and our AHL roster is full (not that I would want to play Greiss in the AHL). We have Leighton, Boosh, Bobrovsky, and Backlund. Greiss is redundant to us.
This is what some Sharks fans don't seem to realize.

EDIT: Saw this move coming a mile away as soon as DW signed three NHL goalies to their big club. That's bad asset management there.
