+1, I've never ever felt that any stick was too whippy for me, only ever too stiff. FWIW Phil Kessel uses an intermediate stick, Ovy and Kovy use roughly 75-80 flex sticks, and all of these guys put WAY more power into their shots than any of us. I'm 6' tall, 180 lbs, decently strong and have been playing hockey for 16 years so my technique is not horrible, and even still I wish my 77 flex stick (barely cut down) was a bit whippier if anything. For the OP, if you have any friends with intermediate sticks you should give them a try and see if you like them, they're often cheaper too. Otherwise you pretty much have to go with a senior stick in the 75ish range, they don't come whippier than that as far as I know.
