Thanks for the tips! I'm not sure I have enough of an iron stomach for the baking soda + water combo, and we don't have three lines or three D pairs, just two. And oddly, I'm playing D for the first time ever because none of us have much experience back there, and I at least know the concepts. Yay women's tournaments when there's no local women's league.
Two wins today (2-1 and 6-0, so yay my ability to not suck at defense?), but I can definitely feel the muscle fatigue and the bruising across the inside my elbows from the slash I took. Tomorrow will likely be very, very interesting. I've been chugging water like a madwoman but have not figured out the lunch situation tomorrow, since we might be playing 11:30/2/4:30 if we keep winning. Food is also key.
Now, off to go stretch my friggin hamstrings again.
