The Easton SY50 and Bauer One55 are supposed to be the same as the Sherwood 5030. Same construction (aspen core and laminated sides plus fiberglassed blade).

I liked the Montreal because the blade had wood laminate over an ABS core and fiberglass reinforcement, so it was incredibly stiff and durable. The wood used was very light and had good flex to it. Corners were rounded for comfort, and the stick had a nice sanded wood finish, very soft to the touch. Much better construction, shooting, and durability compared to modern wood sticks.
