Honestly? All of those guys (not Niemi) are better goalies then what the Kings have had since Vachon.

I think I'm safe in saying this that all of them have been all-stars, members of the Olympic teams, and been the very definition of "elite."
Huh? Not sure if you're joking or not but the only name I'd put anywhere near elite on that list is Fleury and even he has had his struggles. The others are all very solid starting goalies that can be depended on (Niemi is still a ?) but they are not "elite." When I think of "elite" guys I think of the best of their generation, guys like Brodeur, Hasek, Roy, Luongo (although the luster his luster is starting to fade,) Plante, Dryden. Then there's the next tier down with guys like Richter, Esposito, Vokoun, Osgood, Vernon, Belfour, Kiprusoff, guys that are very solid starting goalies that any team would take in a second but that lack that little bit the guys above them all have. Saying any of Ward, Giguere, Fluery, Osgood, or Niemi are elite is like saying saying both Gretzky, and Bure are "elite" players. They're both great players and dynamic scorers but there's kind of a big difference...
