The Rangers have to play this game like the past two road games, hard, on the puck and defense first.

The Rangers have to continue to win the neutral zone battles and guys like Sauer, Stall, Girardi and Rozy have to continue their good pinching, shot blocking and moving up in the play. They need to force the issue and dont let the Devils get anything going.

You know the Devils are embarrassed and this is the perfect matchup for them, on the road to regain confidence. Especially with Marty between the pipes and a benched Kovy coming back. Don't GIVE them an excuse to take the crowd out of it. Dont BEAT yourself by taking dumb penalties or giving them odd-man rushes (which have been way down the past two wins).

Play a good road game at HOME. The Rangers need to forget about pleasing the crowd or feeling the pressure from the stands, just do it like they do it on the road.

This year and last the Rangers are a combined 23-17-5 on the road - thats a conference leading road record. They are 18-18-7 in that same time frame at home... a conference dwelling home record. They need to bottle up their road game and play it home. Maybe since they have been wearing blue a lot on the road during these wins theyll subconsciously play the same?

I hope.
