Syl Apps Jr. was drafted 21st overall by the NY Rangers in the 1964 draft. He played 10 years (727GP 183G 423A 606Pts 311PIM) with the Rangers, Penguins and Kings. New York traded Apps and Sheldon Kannegiesser to Pittsburgh in exchange for Glen Sather on Jan. 26, 1971.
