Offical New York Ranger Fan Club Suspending Operations

Another Rosasco abomination

Received this email Yesterday

To all Current and Previous Fan Club Members:

It is with deep sadness that the Board of the New York Rangers Fan Club, Inc. has decided to suspend operations indefinitely.

At the present time we are without a meeting facility. The building where we did hold our meetings has been sold. Also, besides a select few people no one has been willing to step up to serve on the Board. This has left us with some key board positions vacant.

Therefore, the Board has decided to put operations on hold and we hope to have a more definite resolution by the end of the calendar year. While operations are on hold, we will NOT accept any renewals or new memberships. All members for the 2009 2010 season will receive an extension through the end of the year. Those of you that have already sent in membership will have that money refunded when a final decision is made. We do hope to have a holiday party where we will announce our future plans.

In the event that we do decide to suspend operations for the remainder of the 2010 2011 season, we will offer a convention membership at a reduced rate of $10.00. This will enable our members to still attend the annual NHLBC Convention as members of the New York Rangers Fan Club.

If you would like to contact us you can still reach us though our Facebook page, website or PO Box.

It is truly a sad time for all of us that this has occurred during our 60th anniversary year. Hopefully, this break will be temporary and we will come back stronger than ever.
