BTW, I think he needs to be more assertive on the ice. He needs to do some more yapping and start pushing some people around. Also, the refs need to allow that type of play. They let players like Neil do it, why not Boogaard?
More docile? I don't know. Boogaard needs to be more assertive but that compromised in two ways:

1) The coach won't play him.

2) He's not a good enough skated to be consistently involved and assertive.
