It's not the team results, it's the player developmental results. Stevens was instrumental in developing many of the current Flyers and players that have left in recent years. For that alone, I would not mind him taking over in Adirondack.

Being a developmental league, winning the Calder Cup is actually secondary to the Flyers' needs.
