Yep. Two choices really. Give up most of your life for February-May and August-November every year until you are 26-27, or let it drag out when life interferes and be taking them into your 30s.

But passing them does give pretty good job security, and on the P&C side the pay is pretty good once you get to the ACAS after 6 of the 9 exams.
