Earl is like Jack Todd. The only compliments they can give are backhanded ones. It's so obvious that the success of one player eats them up inside. Sometimes it isn't the GM or the player that is the problem, it's the fan. But all to often the fan blames the former two than blaming himself for his or her own stupidity and irrational views.
